It starts when the six-year-old girl Hotaru got lost in a forest. Upon her search for a way out, she meets Gin, a mask-wearing lad. He helps her get out of the place and eventually, bids farewell. Gin then reveals his identity to Hotaru. He tells her that he’s a human-like spirit and is cursed to vanish once a human touched him.
