The course will cover line drawing, shapes and form, light, shades and values, proportion and scale, perspective and point of view, movement, pattern, texture and figure drawing. Learners will develop and improve their rendering and observational skills to equip them to create various arts and designs and prepare them for the Drawing 2 course (traditional animation). At the end of the course, they will be more confident to draw applying different techniques and present their visual journey.

2D Animation

Animation is one of the element of multimedia and its dynamism adds interest to the visual arts. In this course, the traditional 2D animation process will all be done digitally with the use of industry standard animation software such as Toon Boom Harmony and Adobe Photoshop. It aims to give the learners a behind the scenes experience on how an animation production is, by functioning as clean up artists, in-betweeners, colorist, background designers and animators, and even the technicalities of rendering.

Digital Storyboarding

Storyboarding is the process of breaking down a narrative into visual frames. Through this course, students learn to pre-visualize motion pictures and apply skill to different kinds of production (e.g. film, commercials, animation, mobile games, etc.) students also learn to interpret narratives from scripts, storylines, and design briefs and convert these into frame-by-frame illustrations. By the end of the course, each student is expected to complete their own full storyboard that details the framing, composition, treatment, and movement of each scene.

Practicum

The general purpose of the practicum is to give students an opportunity:

• to implement the theories and principles acquired in class;

• to complete portions of the portfolio competencies; and

• to experience diverse working situations.

The program of educational leadership at CIIT College of Arts and Technology is designed to promote the continued development and professional growth of our students. Achievement of program objectives requires an early and continuous integration of theory and practice. The practicum is considered one of the most important courses in a student’s program. It is the opportunity to apply skills and theories that can be monitored, reflected upon, and improved. The practicum implies a team relationship among the student and the college practicum supervisor. Because the experience takes place in a real-life setting, the cooperating field supervisor serves in the role of coach or mentor. In cases where students are working towards a licensure/credential, the field supervisor must be licensed in the specialty area. Communication between all parties is essential for the achievement of the goal.

Motion Graphics

Motion Graphics is about replicating

visual movement through the creation of key frames across a given timeline in a digital environment. It is less complicated than digital animation and follows the same concepts and theories observed in replicating visual motion. Students

will learn about the technical skills required to assemble a composite in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, animate using Adobe After Effects and render their progress using Adobe Media Encoder. They will also gain insight about the principles of motion design and will be able to utilize.

Practicum

The educational leadership practicum is a supervised administrative experience in several role specialization areas. The general purpose of the practicum is to give students an opportunity:

• to implement the theories and principles acquired in class;

• to complete portions of the portfolio competencies and;

• to experience diverse working situations.

The program of educational leadership at CIIT College of Arts and Technology is designed to promote the continued development and professional growth of prospective administrators. Achievement of program objectives requires an early and continuous integration of theory and practice. The practicum is considered one of the most important courses in a student’s program. It is the opportunity to apply skills and theories that can be monitored, reflected upon, and improved. The practicum implies a team relationship among the student, the cooperating administrator, and the college practicum supervisor. Because the experience takes place in a real-life setting, the cooperating field supervisor serves in the role of coach or mentor. In cases where students are working towards a licensure/credential, the field supervisor must be licensed in the specialty area. Communication between all parties is essential for the achievement of the goal of preparing quality administrators for our schools.

The general purpose of the practicum is to give students an opportunity:

• to implement the theories and principles acquired in class;

• to complete portions of the portfolio competencies; and

• to experience diverse working situations.

The program of educational leadership at CIIT College of Arts and Technology is designed to promote the continued development and professional growth of our students. Achievement of program objectives requires an early and continuous integration of theory and practice. The practicum is considered one of the most important courses in a student’s program. It is the opportunity to apply skills and theories that can be monitored, reflected upon, and improved. The practicum implies a team relationship among the student and the college practicum supervisor. Because the experience takes place in a real-life setting, the cooperating field supervisor serves in the role of coach or mentor. In cases where students are working towards a licensure/credential, the field supervisor must be licensed in the specialty area. Communication between all parties is essential for the achievement of the goal.

"Diverse" is perhaps the best term I could describe about CIIT. There are lots of people with different backgrounds and passions, and these are reflected in our school’s many organizations.

CIIT made studying fun and knowledgeable at the same time. The culture in CIIT is quite different from the typical school. I was used to school policies that were strict, but in CIIT, it was a whole new culture. There are still rules, but it does not limit the students when it comes to expressing themselves.

What I like about CIIT is that they expose us to real-life experiences in the industry we’re aiming for. They also make requirements and projects fun, creative, and reasonable.

In my many different subjects in CIIT, I have enhanced my skills a lot. Not only in classes did I learn, but also through my orgs and by being a student leader.

One thing that always reminds me of school is the word "be industry ready" because I always hear it from my instructors or professors. And it helped me a lot during my internship. Because of it, I was able to communicate very well with my community managers, supervisors, and coworkers and complete my tasks.

I am impressed by the curriculum in that it is holistic and rooted in real world application. There are also quite a lot of hands-on experiences that allow students to develop much needed skills.

I appreciate your way of building the confidence of future creatives to add value and get better opportunities. We need to equip them with things that a computer cannot do—to connect with humans on an emotional level through the work, as a response to the rise of AI.

It's an honor collaborating with CIIT for our Regional Internship Program. Emphasis is on requirements management, interface design, usability, and deployment including ethical and legal considerations. Topics include file handling, front-end development with create-retrieve-update-delete (CRUD) modules, event-driven programming, and data manipulation. Game Programming 2 provides core knowledge on programming paradigms used in game development, together with field knowledge such as animation programming, tool programming, and source and version control. This course was developed to give you extended knowledge in Unity 3D by learning more components, coding practices, and optimizing games by code discipline and asset management.

Game Programming 3 goes into the different algorithms that can be found in video games. Students are expected to programmatically implement concepts such as collisions, interactions and environmental behaviors in the development of video games and its optimization techniques. 2. To apply modern technique, tools, and practices in the development of the proposed prototype based on industry-accepted development methodologies.

Practicum

The Practicum course, divided into Practicum 1 (480 hours) and Practicum (320 hours), connects the classroom learning and student interest with the acquisition of knowledge in an applied work or industry setting. Through direct observation, hands-on experience, reflection and evaluation, students should gain an understanding of the company’s work, purpose and different stakeholders, how these relate to their academic study, as well as, the organization’s position in the broader computing industry or IT field. Students will produce a critical reflection on their internship experience demonstrating how they achieved the target learning outcomes.

At the end of this course, the student should be able to:
