With CIIT Senior High School TVET-ICT – Animation Strand, you’ll learn how to communicate your ideas and narratives through traditional and modern approaches to animation. This includes Traditional and Digital Drawing, Graphic Design, 2D Animation, Color Theory, Character Design, Multimedia Arts, and Storyboarding.
Plus, you get to train under veteran animators, study a specialized curriculum verified by industry experts, and gain access to cutting-edge tools, facilities, and software. All of these will equip you with the needed knowledge, skills, and experience to become a competitive force in the industry.

Drawing 1 is an Art Foundation course that starts the artistic journey of a student in translating ideas into reality or realizable concepts. The mastery of creating illusions through texture, lines, mass, depth, volume, distance and other techniques, will enable the students to develop the skills needed to pursue professions in the visual arts. It will also allow students to master skills that can be utilized in multiple visual art disciplines.

It also discusses the profession of graphic design and the relationship of commerce and technology to the history of art and graphic design. This course is designed to provide students with the understanding on how Adobe® Photoshop CC/InDesign software/ Premiere provides precise control over creative tools for designing. Students will also learn how to publish documents for print, online, or mobile devices. It aims to utilize the different multimedia elements (text, graphics, audio, video, animation, and interactive) in the production of creative outputs.

Drawing 2: Digital Animation
This course will introduce students to the fundamental terminology, concepts, and techniques of creating moving images of a visual storyteller through traditional animation and digital filmmaking. Through various projects, students will be introduced to animation concepts such as timing, weight, anticipation, and others. As a final project, students will be required to integrate the skills and knowledge they have developed in this course by way of producing a short animated video.

Work Immersion
Work Immersion
Work Immersion is one of the course requirements for graduation. A Senior High School student has to undergo Work Immersion in an industry that directly relates to the student’s postsecondary goals. Through Work Immersion, the students are exposed to and become familiar with work-related environments related to their field of specialization to enhance their competence. These will prepare them to meet the needs and challenges of employment or higher education after graduation.

While instruction in the DepEd mandated academic subjects will be contextualized as specifically as possible for this strand, students will also be able to acquire the following skills at the end of each year level:
GRADE 11
Knowledge of basic techniques and tools for drawing as well as digital adaptation of artworks will be introduced in your first year. You will learn how to contextualize your perspective of graphic design to past and present art movements. An understanding of film language will be developed. You will also acquire in the following areas:

GRADE 12
In your second and final year, you will learn to effectively use a range of both physical and digital tools to create output.
